Allison Sonnier

I am a 40 year old, single woman from Moss Bluff, Louisiana. Looking back, these 40 years have been a roller coaster ride of hills and valleys. Some of my lowest lows have taught me how to look to the Lord and find joy in the rock rather than the circumstances. Some of my lows I didn’t handle so well, but they have still become reminders of what the Lord can do in the lives of those who love Him, even when they are in active rebellion. Most of my highs have been Ebenezer’s to remind me of what His promises are so that even in the darkest times, I can stand firmly on his foundation of hope and the promise that He is good.

Over the past few years, I feel the Lord shifting in my world. Everything I thought I knew about His purpose for me began changing. As I navigate and process this new journey I am being constantly filled with fresh thoughts, ideas, theories, and truths that I have missed along the way. I’ve been inspired to start this blog primarily as a way to document what the Lord is downloading into my spirit. My prayer is that these truths fall on the eyes that they are meant for and that the Lord will use this season to not only grow me, but to grow others in a deeper knowledge of who He is, and who He has called each of us to be.
